比賽在第二節剩下6分55秒時出現意外插曲，James在快攻時被Green犯規攔阻而重摔在地，雙方球員一度對峙，事後Green遭判一級惡性犯規，但他相當不以為然認為James摔倒僅是在「假摔」，Green下場時還刻意模仿James摔倒的動作，引發全場一陣譁然。

馬林魚隊旅美好手陳偉殷今天跟中日龍隊前隊友吉見一起進行公開自主訓練，兩人談到過去往事都不禁笑了起來，殷仔也透露希望讓吉見多認識一些美式不同的訓練方法。
殷仔是在2012年起於美國職棒打拚，也接觸到不同於日式的強度與變化，他說：「我們以前在日本就常在一起，希望從聊天讓他知道一些美國訓練方法，他也想知道如何每場都能投超過100球，如何事先調整的方式。」
不過陳偉殷也強調，因為跑步完就馬上接著傳接球，的確會比較累，因為日本在自主訓練時，中間休息時間比較長，這也剛好讓他可以去適應這樣的強度。
